The opposite of sound, I suppose, would be silence. However, the opposite of a given sound would be some other sound. You can get the sound waves to cancel out each other precisely. What does it sound like if you record the opposite of a sound and then listen to it without the original sound? It'd be like a negative of a photograph. |
