Boss

If you want to be able to travel, the money a boss earns can help you go in style.

Trouble is, once you're a boss, you never get to take the time off anymore.

That's why I travel light and travel cheap.

So I can do it more often.

There is a little boy standing next to the cotton candy cart with (presumably) his older sister. He stands rail-straight like there's current running through him, chin thrust out and eyes clamped shut. He is screaming--more like wailing--at his flinching sister, »YOU ARE NOT THE BOSS OF ME!«

The big monster at the end of a shoot-em-up videogame is called boss. So this must be the creature that pays all the other creatures that try to invade the earth or kidnap the princess.

But how do they finance all these gigantic space stations? In fact, these bosses must be genies when it comes to raise money. Everybody knows what the cost of a spcae station is: beyond imagination. And then all these laser cannons mounted to it.

The earth defenders always have just a small space ship which is also very expensive, but not as much as a fully armed space station that looks like a clash of a foetus and a steam train.

Conclusion: in this age of turbo capitalism, the shoot-em-up bosses should not be shot but put into leading positions.

Who's the boss at home? You don't know? Ask your wife.
