People are keen on catching a seat in a crowded bus or sub. Sitting seems to be some sort of privilege and you are concerned kind if you offer your seat to an old lady.

Maybe this is about to change as everybody wants to look more dynamically and modern by standing. In the village where I live a bank changed their architecture so the employees do not sit while talking to you. Now customers and employees are leaning against or standing around small tables with computer terminals. – I think this sucks because actually it's about my money and not a loose talk about the latest and funkiest video games between cool kids.

And yes, there is also a car manufacturer named »Seat«.

Another mystery of life is why people will always ask if the empty seat beside you is occupied.

Offer your seat on the bus to someone, it will make you both smile the rest of the day!
