Middle age is like the Middle Ages. If you actually lived at the time, you would never have noticed how middling was the age through which you made your way. Anyway, we rarely change by very much and probably can't wait to get into that old age where we can be as opinionated, rude and controlling as we wish, with no-one to tell us off from above or below.... |
